A defense chapter, slighty better than chapter 28 at least. I got 2 new units right at the start, Pent and Louise.

Pent is without a doubt the best staff user of the game on 0% growth (Athos excluded). His 18 Mag allows him to have 9 range with staffs (as opposed to 5 range from everyone else on my team), 17 Spd is pretty good and 16 Res is litterally the highest Res any unit will have until Renault joins us on chapter 32. He also has the same affinity than my tactician for a small Avoid and Accuracy bonus.

Louise is a sniper... well, that's not a good start. She is actually usable since she has 12 Str, 17 Spd and A-rank bow, and a sweet A support with Pent for a +7 Accuracy, +7 Avoid and +1 Def when Louise is close to him.

About the chapter, I have not much to say. Other than the usual grinding (Bartre finally promoted), I got the Hammerne Staff, some killer weapons (Hawkeye can dodgetank Vaida with good reliability once he is on a peak), while my strong units were protecting Merlinus from the wyvern riders army.

In the end, my magic units have a total of 2467 Exp, versus 2461 Exp for the fighting units (close, but Wallace could have taken Raven's slot on this chapter if needed).
