The layout of this chapter is very complicated, as I must kill the boss and seize the throne with Hector, but to reach the throne I must cross water and face multiples long range tomes/staves/bow users, including a 22 Mag Sleep!Druid. My options are limited because my only units who can cross water are my 3 pegasus sisters, Heath, Hawkeye and Dart. Last but not least, the boss owns a Bolting tome for a total attack of 34 (as a remainder, Hector has 19 HP and 0 Res).

It would be best to get the Speedwings from the chest (guarded by the Generals) and to steal the Angelic Robe from the Bishop, but I am facing a serious deployment limitation (only 9 units in addition to the mandatory Hector, Nino and Jaffar). Due to this, I can’t deploy Legault (he would need someone else to escort him) and so I can’t get the Angelic Robe. The 3 northeast chests are too far out of the way and don’t hold any useful items.

On turn 1, I must face threats from the “Bow Island” (1 Balista!Sniper and 2 Archers), the “Anima Island” (3 Bolting!Mages and 1 Silence!Sage) and from a group of Falco/Pegasus knights. The Sniper is the most dangerous one and is covering the ballista, but he has low Res so Pent putting him to sleep is the perfect answer. Hawkeye can also kill one of the archer on his own.

The Falco/Pegasus knights group will barely reach my starting position on turn 1, but they must be killed on enemy phase (or at least the 4 Pegasus knights) to prevent them from killing the weak units left behind on the next turn. Among my deployed units, Pent and Jaffar can do this reliably, but Jaffar has already another job to do.

The Anima Island is troublesome because I can’t kill anyone without a flyier, and they are all busy carrying people, so I can only tank the Bolting!Mages. Nino is the perfect target to take one hit as she has nothing else to do (she is mandatory, and she can’t even rescue Ninian). The Silence!Sage can’t use his staff on anyone (my staffers are all out of range or don’t have any staff in their inventory) so he just chose to attack Canas. This left 1 archer and 2 mages who will target Fiora, and she can live as long as she can dodge on of the attacks.

Turn 2 is more about killing what is still alive, and getting Wyrmslayer!Jaffar in range of the group of wyverns. These wyverns cover a large part of the path to the throne and must be killed, but Jaffar can only ORKO the Wyvern Riders with the Wyrmslayer (the Lancereaver usually leaves them with 1 HP left) so he is facing some moderate chances of death (he must dodge 2 Wyrvern Riders or the Wyvern Lord to survive). Hector is also rescued after using a Pure Water and getting a defense buff from Ninian (with these bonus, he has 19 HP and 17 Res, enough to take one Bolting from the boss).

Next turn, my 3 flyiers can finally move forward, because they can face the boss and the 3 staves users without any risk. Since Heath got hit by the Poison Axe!Pirate, he can’t be targeted by any other status (yes, poison count as a status). Fiora is the priority target for the boss as she can barely survive, but she isn’t equipped with any weapon so the staves users will not target her. Finally, Farina has 21 Res thanks to the Pure Water, it’s so much that the Bishops will not even try to hit her, and the Sleep!Druid will prioritize Jaffar over her.

Now all I have to do is dropping Hector and Canas near the throne (the boss will target Fiora once again) and everyone will live on the last enemy phase. In case Canas didn't crit the boss, there was still the backup start with a 6% crit from Silver Lance!Heath (could have been 11% with S-rank Lance). Hawkeye is just in time to battle the General guarding the Speedwings (it will be for Harken this time), although Farina needs to finish him (I could have triangle attack him, unfortunately Heavy!Spear Farina isn't strong enough to ORKO him).
