The first and last seize chapter with the Warp Staff available, and that’s a good thing because otherwise this staff wouldn’t last long. I must also visit the northwestern ruins to recruit Renault. Like the chapter 28x boss, Limstella is a Bolting!Sage, however I can’t use a similar strategy since the area near the throne is totally covered by balistas and Shamans/Druid reinforcements. The boss is also quite tanky, and Vaida can’t ORKO her without an unreliable double crit (out of 4 attacks) with the Brave Lance.

My strategy involves rescue/dropping various people on a place close enough to the throne to warp Hector and seize on the same turn. The most convenient area is in the north near Renault so that I can recruit him on my way. At the very least, I must carry Hector, Pent, and Canas, but the sky is dangerous for all my flyiers except Vaida.

By taking a path following the mountains, I can limit the treat to the group of wyvern on the north side. These wyverns will move on their own towards the center of the map except if they are in range of one of my units, so it’s better to engage them on turn 1. Vaida can ORKO the Wyvern Riders, but the Wyvern Lord is another story.

Vaida will leave him with 15~19 HP, but she is busy taking care of the Purge!Bishop and Sniper near the dropping area, so she can’t finish him. To kill the Wyvern Lord, my second mine and Spear!Farina are usually enough, but sometimes Killer Lance!Fiora must also fight.

On turn 3, I dropped everyone, with Pent and Heath preventing the 3 Heroes from attacking Hector. The Hero attacking Pent must have 15 Spd or less so that Pent can double him, and Heath may die if neither of the 2 other heroes has less than 17 Spd. With this setup, I can recruit Legault with Fiora and seize on turn 4.

Regault is a Bishop with good stats, with the notable exception of his poor 12 Mag, and he comes with a Fortify Staff (same as the Physic Staff, except everyone in range is healed). Yet his 6 staff range instead of 5 is welcome for the remaining chapters, including this one. Since he is in range of Hector, I made good use of his A-rank Staff.

So it cost me 6 Warp and 2 Rescue for this single chapter, that’s a lot but there are only 2 chapters left now. Oh, and now we know that unpromoted Florina is so strong that she can easily face a Hero on chapter 32.
