Returning to this challenge after a 6-month break or so. Trying to see how recording the sound goes again (and boy did it go wrong), as well as checking if I can get higher quality videos again.

Not much has happened since the last video. Yang left the party, Edge joined.

Rubicante would be rather hard due to Inferno, which hits immensely hard, and is used whenever Rubicante opens his mantle. However, there's one way to prevent it in this version. Yes, talking about the infamous nipple stealing trick. For those who don't know, having Edge make a steal attempt will make Rubicante shut his mantle immediately, in fear that something valuable gets stolen. What could that be? There seems to be a long fan tradition of answering this question.

Anyway, Rubicante still needs careful planning as we don't want to die in Fira counters among other things. Most offensive actions cause him to counter with that when in covered form, and targeting the whole party it hurts quite a bit, even with Shell set up.

That's what we limit who attacks and who doesn't. Rosa certainly can't heal faster than Rubicante counters, so it's a good idea to have only the strongest characters attack. A good choice is Edge with his Throw ability, and we're quite stocked up on Shurikens to make good use of it. It should also be noted that Rio can bypass the counter altogether by using non-elemental magic like Bio and Quake, as opposed to summons and elemental magic.

Cecil has Draw Attacks and when Rubicante is covered, he only uses physical attacks to damage the party. Simply cast Blink on Cecil to prevent them from hurting anyone.

I wanted Kain to die before the battle ended (not that he was contributing anything), because he will rejoin later at a fixed level, but Rubicante couldn't succeed even in that before I killed him. I guess that's the power of Slow and a decent strategy? Either way, this wasn't a hard battle at all.
