FF7 North Corel Train Battles Skip (PC only)
12Even though Battle Mode Warping had been known for several months, only recently did I consider making use of it in a speedrun.
This will probably be the first time that the difference between the PC and PS version of FF7 will cause an actual difference between their speedrun routes for Slots/NoSlots.
As this skip evidently does not work in SS, it will also cause another difference between SS and RTA for FF7 speedruns.
PS: Interestingly, you can see Cid's field model at the beginning of the FMV from 01:25 to 01:33.
