I pick up the gil in Ruby's Theater because it's easy money, even though the guide doesn't mention it. Once in Treno, watch the 'Memories by the Water' and 'City People' ATEs outside Doctor Tot's tower, and in front of the Card Stadium respectively to get the Chimera Armlet. Then register and win the first round of the tournament.

At this point I do something the guide doesn't suggest, but it saves a little resetting later.

Before playing the second round, I watch the ATE "Hippo's Prize" so that I can win the rare Namingway Card. Other than finding the one at the Desert Place, this is the only time and place to win this exclusive card, and I want one with at least 6 arrows to satisfy my definition for a perfect Tetra Master collection! I do not play the second round just yet, but if I do not watch the ATE now, it will not be available when I come back!

I then head towards Dali to pick up the missable items that are now available at this time only, along with making some critical shopping transactions that will be made clear soon!

Items Purchased: 99 Wrists, 99 Leather Hats, 99 Leather Shirts

You should have at least 3 Ore in your inventory from the field icons and chests so far. YOU MUST HAVE 3 ORE BEFORE LEAVING DALI!!! So sell any extras you may have stolen or won. The 99 Wrists complete another batch of Cotton Robes. The guide does not mention this, but now that I have a lot of money to spare, I purchase 99 Leather Hats and 99 Leather Shirts so I can synthesize 99 Desert Boots which in return sell for a profit, so I take advantage of the free money-making opportunity!

Now that I have all 3 coffees, I submit them to complete Morrid's Coffee side quest and win the Mini-Prima Vista. This is the only time you can complete this quest so it's now or never. Then I return to Treno for the final two rounds of the tournament.

The second round card game was my first attempt at getting a Namingway Card, and it was a fluke I got what I wanted so soon!!!
For Path B, C, and CS, the guide says to buy a Plate Mail now, but I am gonna swipe the one Beatrix wears in the next video. It makes the Mistidon fights riskier but it saves gil.

Before playing the final round, I read a moogle letter and save!
