This is one of those parts of the perfect game challenge that is more about survival than getting through quickly. In fact, this was my first successful attempt and although it wasn't as good as I hoped, this run was better than some of my predecessors.

This final fight with Beatrix will have to be won legit, since Quina is no longer in the party. Freya's Cover ability will allow her to take the hit for any member of the party, which is why Vivi used MT-Blizzard in the previous video. All you have to do is keep Freya alive and this battle is easy! You don't need any steals, aside from getting one of your phoenix downs back!

Before fighting the Type C black mages, move everyone to the back row and equip your party as follows:

Zidane - Mythril Dagger, Bandana, Bone Wrist, Mythril Vest, Reflect Ring
(Auto-Reflect, Auto-Potion)

Steiner - Ice Brand, Mythril Helm, Silver Gloves, Chain Mail, Coral Ring
(HP+10%, Insomniac)

Vivi - Oak Staff, Mage's Hat, Bone Wrist, Magician Robe, Madain's Ring
(Auto-Potion)

Dagger - Mythril Rod, Mage's Hat, Glass Armlet, Silk Robe, Gold Choker
(Auto-Potion)

Simply stop the mages! With the above setups, Zidane can only be harmed by a physical attack, and Vivi will survive any attack and remain at full HP. Dagger is a little more vulnerable, but it shouldn't be too hard to get past this battle.

After the Type C fight, give Vivi the second Coral Ring and activate Insomnaic for him and remove Steiner's Silver Gloves and heal him.

The pair of Bandersnatches after the mages always gives me problems, as 3 Stops missed on this one battle alone! Luckily the last one before the party swtich was a one-caster. 6 out of 10 for Stops is acceptable for me.

Beatrix shouldn't have much trouble with last 2 battles, just have Steiner heal Beatrix in the last battle.

Before fighting Rulvuimago, Remove Dagger's Gold Choker and Silk Robe so Vivi can wear them along with equipping the Ice Staff and Magus Hat. Activate Vivi's Ability Up and take off Zidane's Auto-Reflect and reactivate Bandit.

It takes 3 Blizzara spells to win, and you want to get the first spell cast before the boss attacks, meaning you have to survive two rounds. Thundara is an instant reset, Ultra Sound Wave cannot hit Vivi, and Stab cannot knock out Vivi or Zidane. The fastest method is just using Blizzara and not attacking physically to make the boss curl prolonging the fight, but it is very likely Thundara will force a reset, so if you manage to get two Blizzaras in, attack physically to guarantee a win. You will have to wait until the boss uncurls to finish it off so get in a couple of steal attempts. I would make sure you steal the Adaman Vest at the very least as it can be of great use shortly!

The only reason I kept the boss fight save is because I got everything, including the extra Ether drop. I think 8 extra seconds is worth that.
