After raiding Zeph's Tower for its items and a little struggle up Fanatics' Tower to loot its items, I needed to do something about Rikka's MP consumption problem. Don't get me wrong; Rikka is a pretty awesome character in this challenge, but her big problem is the fact that she has pretty much an entire skillset chock full of spells that cost an arm and a leg (and sometimes a tooth). While this may not be a concern in a normal game, this is an LLG, so while Tinctures are good, sometimes they just aren't enough. So I did some milling around the WoR. There are a few enemies out there that do have X-Ethers as steals, but it seems that they're all RARE steals. Even if I Dischord their levels, I still have around a 11% chance to steal. Not worth the trouble.

So my only other option was the Coliseum. After much trial and error, I found that betting Time Hats will yield Elixirs. While Elixirs aren't the best way of restoring Rikka's MP (due to the fact that Elixirs will take her out of critical status in fights), they certainly beat Tinctures. X-Ethers are available as well, but they put you in a fight with Pugs, which is nigh impossible due to Step Mine. So I have to settle for Elixirs.

In this video, we send in a level 8 Leader vs an Allosaurus. As mentioned earlier, betting a Time Hat will get you an Elixir if you defeat the Allosaurus. Time Hats are readily available for purchase in Nikeah, and they are quite cheap considering we can farm GP anytime from the Cactrots near Maranda (in fact, with Gold Egg equipped, Cacturas give 20,000 GP, which ultimately turns into 8 Elixirs). Allosaurus itself is a very easy fight; it only has 3,000 HP and all we need is some form of death protection as it does tend to cast Doom at times.

While we can use almost anyone to kill the Allosaurus, the most efficient way to deal with the dinosaur is to equip Leader with a Safety Bit, a Tornado Rod, and three Jump commands. Which I forgot to do the latter during the first fight, haha. Two Tornado procs with a Hero Ring is basically an instant win, while without it, it'll take three.
