Tiamat will only attack with Dark Flare. It takes a while for him to charge it, so you should use the time to get as much damage in as possible. Don't use fire, thunder or wind magic, though. Oddly enough, if you characters can absorb fire(I think), Dark Flare will actually heal them. I didn't realize this when I started the fight.

Defeating the Vysage will make Gargantua appear. It will counter any physical attacks with a powerful attack of its own, so you'll need to use magic or GFs to bring it down. It doesn't have any weaknesses and it doesn't absorb any elements, so just use the strongest magics you have. It will use Quake so junction earth magic to your Elem-Def to make things a bit easier. If you have Berserk, junction it to Stat-Def because Gargantua likes to berserk your characters. Obviously that's very bad since it will counter all physical attacks.
