BIG SPOILERS. This is the last part of Out of the Shadows and has some huge plot points revealed so be warned.

11:01-1st boss.The main thing is hitting the boss with the bloodstone beam but being careful since she will spin. The endless reinforcements may pester you.

19:55-2nd boss. Once more, gotta hit the boss with the bloodstone beam when the shield is up. I didn't notice much else special it was way easier than the first boss.

This instance involves tracking down the White Mantle in an attempt to capture Caudecus and put a stop to his plans. Of course things don't quite go as you'd expect.






I have to say though, the bit at the end was odd to me. Why would they spare him? Must be planning something. I really doubt it's truly something good or well-intentioned.

So plot wise it was interesting stuff but gameplay wise eh...The first boss was tedious and either has buggy hitboxes or I was lagging in a SOLO instance somehow lol. The last boss didn't bother me as much, it seemed more reasonable and I didn't suffer any cheap deaths to it.

I've heard people in the map chat saying this stuff was hard or bugged but the actual mechanic of hitting these bosses with the bloodstone beam isn't too hard. Or maybe that's just since I'm on Mesmer but eh that wasn't the problem. It was probably lack of on the move heals in my case, I've since swapped out my healing skill.

All in all, this update feels like a solid 7 at least. Maybe that's a bit generous. It wasn't bad but the hotfix breaking the servers for hours was awful, bugs and lag and the first boss just being rather tedious. At least I didn't get the bug that causes your NPC allies to just stand around during the first boss. They've done good bosses before but mostly in the Open World event content. I just would love something like MoM but solo. I don't mean in scale but in fun terms.
