Fourth day of my holiday in Malta - I want to Valetta to buy a hat.
Here I was using my phone to record some really nice walla and ambient sounds of people walking around.

This provides for some easy to use assets for background ambient noises. Just a quick walk through a place like this with an open mic provides enough material for several scenes and projects.

It's an easy way to gather material.
All this material I would consider as background sounds - that can be used to produce a background layer that will mask all the fade in and out 3D located sounds we would place within that soundscape.
