My Road To AAA GameDev as a Sound Designer - Cujo Sound
As a AAA Game Audio Developer - I have often been asked how I got into the industry. Usually with a disappointing response to my answer as it's often thought that it was just something that happened right after school and that's it. #gamedev #sounddesign #gameaudio
The truth is, in my case, that I worked super hard for this - without a doubt I think all people in #GameDev has to get here.
In my case it took my years of practicing, working hard, trying again, working some more, trying again, applying for schools, be angry about refusals and turn downs, be happy about the progress I was doing right after, be sad and giving up, continue, work harder - take full advantage of the little help I could get (actually that's my reason to run this YouTube channel - to create all the material that wasn't available when I started myself and all the help I wish I could have had and answers to the questions I wanted to ask.
The process was long - I worked hard and I tried again and again and over and over again. I made it here - and this here is the story of why it's important to be persistent and try really hard and harder again and just not quitting...
This is a very long video - about one hour. You can listen to it as a long story told, there isn't much to see, apart from the various pictures from the ride from my childhood all the way to my current #sounddesign career.
I hope you will like it and appreciate the time I spent to get here in my career and the time I spent on creating this video - because it took a REALLY long time. :)
Thanks in advance for watching - hopefully I'll see you back here on the channel for some of the other videos I have done on #GameAudio and #Gamedevelopment
