Rive is a Platformer and Twinstick Shooter in one. Honestly i first tried to play the game with mouse and keyboard, but the game doesn't seem to support these controls.
So i picked my thrusty XBox PC Controller.
Your character is more or less a Redneck in space, which gives your hero a certain charm. Your Ship/Vehicle is in space, but pretty much broken and out of fuel, so you decide to dock a anbandoned space station. On there, you get greeted by and AI, which is controlling it. It first seems to be helpful and try to guide you, but something seems wrong about it.
So on your "quest" for fuel, you explore the spacestation in a closed level like fashion.
Jumping and running throug the rooms and vents, fighting rogue drones.
The game comes with screen filling explosions and effects, a own kind of humour and much much action.
