42In this episode we finish filling out our spellbooks for everyone in the party, and buy Will his ultimate weapon: the Catclaw. We then fly to Crescent Lake, where the sages there tell us of the Time Loop. The villain behind all of the evil that has befallen the world has traveled back in time 2000 years, from whence he sent the Four Fiends to wreak havoc upon the world. Once 2000 years pass, he will travel back again, and the destruction will continue in perpetuity. Armed with this knowledge, we are determined to revisit the Temple of Fiends. First, however, we take our newly found Adamant to the smith in the Cave of Dwarf, where he creates the legendary sword he promised: the Excalibur, Skittle's ultimate weapon. We then set out for the Temple of Fiends, where we are surprised to learn the bats living there are actually the Sky Warriors, transformed by a curse. They tell us to use our orbs, now lighted, at the altar, to break through and travel 2000 years into the past to confront the final enemy. We step into the time field and are promptly transported into the past. Fighting through dangerous enemy encounters and a gauntlet of the Fiends we've already defeated, we raid the treasure rooms and find the most powerful weapon in the world: the Masamune, a sword that can be used by anyone in the party, but ultimately will be wielded by our ninja, Jerupitus. With the party now in possession of all of their final equipment, we Exit out of the Temple of Fiends Past, in search of the ultimate challenge: the Warmech who inhabits the Floating Castle.
