Let's Play Shining Force (#23) - Chaos
7In this episode we head back to Prompt to try to make our journey to Metapha, and find that the townspeople have been broken from their food-loving stupor. They seem much more interested in education and intelligence now, which is an inexplicable yet positive change. We then head to speak with the king, who has fallen into despair, when Otrant suddenly appears to tell us of the legendary weapon: the Chaos Breaker. He goes on to say that when the ultimate evil arises, the power of both the swords of light and darkness can be fused into a weapon that can defeat it. The king of Prompt reveals that Kane entrusted the Sword of Darkness with him, and he gifts it to us in the hopes that we can travel to Metapha to create the Chaos Breaker. With both swords in hand, we head to the newly repaired Shining Path, and are transported to Metapha. There we meet a robot named Adam, who tells us he will show us how to create the Chaos Breaker. Following his lead, we are stopped by another robot named Chaos, who was reprogrammed by Darksol for evil. Adam tries to reset Chaos, but Chaos shrugs off the attempt and attacks! The Shining Force meets the ambush head on in a desperate fight, but emerges victorious once again. With Chaos defeated, we head into the Pool of the Ancients.
