Thanks to an error on my part, I had to redo the game to find a missing treasure chest for the Chest achievement. However, thanks to this blunder, I was able to try something I forgot to showcase for this playlist: How to slay Magic Pot.

There is a Klingon Proverb that comes to mind: Revenge is a dish best served cold! This is revenge for all the people who had to sacrifice Elixirs to this greedy prick and/or had to keep spamming the Wonder Wand, just to save money!

The Magic Pot begins with Auto-Protect and emits a special Mute that silences all forms of Magic, Spellblade and Sing. He will also heal himself back to full HP when he requests an Elixir. If you feed him one, there is a 33% chance he will Flee and you will get 100 ABP. However, sometimes he has been known to stay around and consume about 10 Elixirs or so and he still won't leave. This is a problem as each one runs you 50k at Phantom Village.

To save on Elixirs, feed him just one. If he refuses to run away, cast Return off the Wonder Wand to restart the battle and try again. Be sure to enter the battle with classes you want to ABP up, especially Mime or Red Mage. The only con of this strategy is you may end up casting Return over and over again until he eventually cowers.

Now if you think that is a load of crap, you got the fun option: Slaying this little prick. It is recommended to acquire 4 Hermes Sandals (or you will have to use Masamune to cast Haste on each person) and equip them to all your characters. You will also need at least Mix, Combine and Dual Wield to effectively pull this off. Maxing out the jobs that max your stats is recommended.

To slay him, you will need some mixes and a weapon spell:
- Mix enough Dragon Power (Potion + Dragon Fang) so the the level of your fighters is 99 (take the level you have going in, subtract that value from 99, then divide the difference by 20 and round up. I was 48 going in). This will ensure you do maximum damage.

- Use the Judgement Staff (rare steal from Istory Lythos) to dispel Magic Pots Auto-Protect. Every attack will hit for full damage.

- Apply Slow on Magic Pot through Cannoneer's Slow Cannon (Combine Turtle Shell and any ammo type). Make sure you do this after you have Dispelled. This gives you more time to slay him should you either have sub part weapons or you don't want to mix up all the Dragon Power required. This is also helpful for Aim attackers.

- (Optional) Apply Dragon Kiss (Maiden Kiss + Dragon Fang) to Magic Pot if you have any Dragon Lances or Whiskers.

Once that is all done, unleash Rapid Fire or Aim with your best attackers. 2 to 3 barrages is enough to eliminate it if you did everything correctly. But begin your Rapid Fire or Aim assault after he heals himself with an Elixir and you see the graphic. I went with Rapid Fire because this was my 2nd run through and I didn't want to steal 6 Dragon Lances to speed kill it given the abysmal rare steal chances.

As a warning, only kill him if you don't mind giving up the 100 ABP to do so.
