How's it going everyone in this video we take an objective look at the Steam remake of Final Fantasy V. This is a classic JRPG from Square Enix(formally Squaresoft) that features an amazing job class system and your typical save the crystals storyline. This game never really made it to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System(SNES) but was released on the Super Famicom in Japan. It's had several fan translations, a PS1 remake in the Final Fantasy Anthology, which suffered from super long load times which is sort of a deal breaker for me, and also a remake on the GBA, however the audio quality on the GBA remake was pretty bad. This version is the Steam version remake that has it's own issues. I've heard some people say this port is absolute garbage and I've heard people saying it's actually not that bad. I've heard the same things about the Final Fantasy VI(FFVI) steam remake, which I found quite good, after you get over the initial shock of how different everything looks. This boasts higher pixel density and all new sprites and tilesets and is a pc port of the mobile version of the game. While I wish it was an actual snes to pc remake it's just a snes to mobile port, that then got ported to PC. My expectations aren't super high, but I'm going to give it a fair shot anyway.
