How's it going everyone, in this GameMaker Studio 2 tutorial video we go over how to use the mouse as a trigger for whatever code you want to run. We'll be looking at the project I'm working on first to see how it operates and if this is something you would like to know how to do. Then we go over a few methods on how to make that happen. You can use lines of code right inside the step event to detect when and if you're pressing the buttons or, you can use a special event tag that triggers a particular bit of code when the object is clicked with a mouse. This is a short tutorial on some basic functionality with some other tips and tricks about coding in GMS2 sprinkled in. Hopefully you find this tutorial helpful and or entertaining. Thanks for watching! :)
