GMS2 Tutorial - Persistent Objects and Switch Conditions - GameMaker Studio 2 Tutorial
How's it going everyone, in this GameMaker Studio 2 tutorial video we take a look at where my project stands and how I'm using persistent objects with switch conditions in order to get objects to run on some maps but disappear without being destroyed on other objects. This is a method for toggling the visibility of objects you need to store values in. Sometimes you don't want objects to be destroyed when you change rooms, but you no longer want them to be displayed or even be active while you're in the other rooms. This is a simple trick and I hope you find this tutorial to be helpful in some way, thanks for watching! :)
