How's it going everyone, in this RPG Maker MV Tutorial video we take a look at how to add the Final Fantasy XI (11) job of Paladin to your RPG Maker MV projects. This is a very close version of the Paladin but it's skills have been modified a bit in order for it to work inside of MV engine, for example enmity works way different when comparing FFXI to MV. So target rate is being used as well as Yanfly's Target Core, and Taunt plugins. The Paladin gets some magic abilities very similar to white magic from the white mage, but the damage (healing) formulas are a bit weaker than the White Mage. The Paladin's healing magic is on par with the Red Mage's Red Magic healing when we talk about healing formulas. The Paladin gets two skill types like most other jobs, they get Chivalry for magic spells very similar to White Magic, and PLD Abilities, which is a class that holds the instant + cooldown abilities. They get several states the add the chance of being targeted in order to take advantage of having such a high defense and state effects. This is a great tank to have in the party and use this as a template that you will change to fit in your games. I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial and thanks for watching! :)
