0PREVIOUSLY ON FINAL FANTASY VI ADVANCE:
After being attacked by the rogue Espers that bolted out of the Sealed Gate, Emperor Gestahl claims to have lost his will to fight. He feels really bad about everything, so he invites the whole gang over for dinner. What's that you say? There's four minutes before dinner, so you want me to try and speak to as many soldiers as possible? I guess... I could...do that. Weird thing to ask your guest to do. And what's up with all those questions at dinner? You were judging me based on my answers?!? Luckily, it looks like we pulled it off and got some sweet treasures for our troubles. Now Locke and Terra will be heading to the Crescent Isle in search of the missing Espers.
IN THIS CHAPTER:
I knew Shadow was fickle, but damn. This go-around, Shadow literally only sticks with you from the place the ship lands until you walk to Thamasa. He's still technically in your party while your in town, but he won't fight with you. I don't know why I bothered equipping him. Anywho, we'll meet the last two non-optional characters of the game and then things are gonna get lit...
