Final Fantasy VI Advance - Ch. 12 - The Opera House
1PREVIOUSLY ON FINAL FANTASY VI ADVANCE:
We went to the bad part of town, except the whole town was bad. We went to the city of thieves, liars and murderers: the town of Zozo. Word on the street is that Terra is 'not' on the top floor of a building here, so that's where we went. After a little chainsaw hunting and a real lackluster boss, we finally caught up to her and some new characters. Turns out, Terra was called to Zozo by another Esper, Ramuh. Him and other Espers have been living alongside humans, in secret the whole time. Ramuh thinks he knows someone who might help, his Esper friends that have been captured and are being held in the Magitek Research facility in Vector. But how do we get there?
IN THIS CHAPTER:
This is another fun classic chapter of this game. We meet our next new character, Setzer, the gambler and owner of the world's only airship. We need to convince him to take us to Vector, so Celes must impersonate Maria, the female lead in an opera that Setzer is lusting over. While Celes pulls off the performance, not everything goes to plan as Ultros is back! They really try to mix up the gameplay as much as they can here, between the play and racing stop Ultros in the five minute limit provided. This boss fight really seemed a lot harder when I was a kid.
