Final Fantasy VI Advance - Ch. 9 - Defend Narshe!
PREVIOUSLY ON FINAL FANTASY VI ADVANCE:
Jumping into running water is apparently a valid mode of transportation, as Sabin and our heroes have now done this about three times. I guess Sabin's like, "Well, jumping into running water got me into this mess, so it's gotta be my way out." We jump from Baren Falls (Shadow: I'm out) to get to the Veldt, we jump from Crescent Mountain into the Serpent Trench to get to Nikeah. I was surprised Sabin and the group got into a legit boat finally at the end of this. It was a nice chapter where we met the Feral Child Gau and raged against the machine (Satellite shows up in the Veldt, so that's technically true). But now we're finally all together now in the place where this all started: Narshe. What's gonna happen now?
IN THIS CHAPTER:
The battle in this chapter is significant point in the game. I remember when I rented it in elementary school, I had to play like crazy to get to this part before the three day rental was up. Just like the ten moogle battle in the beginning of the game, you're going to split up into three groups. I see twelve troops when they show up, but it feels like there's more than twelve. I put Sabin and Cyan in their own different groups and gave them a healer each. Then Edgar, Gau and Locke for the third group. I think I did pretty well, considering the low lever I"m at. I don't have Fire Dance or Quadra Slam, yet (or whatever their GBA counterparts are). After the battle and the ensuing storylines, I call it a night. But in the next chapter we'll finally be exploring Narshe (can't get Mog yet though...).
