Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster - Ch. 26 - Kefka's Tower
0Last time, we tackled those eight pesky legendary dragons in a specially edited video. It was all business, no aimless walking around. So I certainly hope y'all enjoyed it. Right now, this is it fam. We're going to take the fight to Kefka's doorstep!
CHAPTER 26 - KEFKA'S TOWER
This video will cover the whole tower, up to the point where you fight the Warring Triad. It will cut off right before the scene that leads to the final boss fight. As you can see, you'll need to make three separate parties in order to successfully traverse the tower. You should obviously level up as much as needed, as this is the final battle. I basically got everyone up to at least level 40, with some members being well into the 50's.
Path#1 is definitely the easiest. There are no boss fights prior to facing the Warring Triad. There is a 'switch room', where you can decide which path the Path#1 party will switch to. Depending on this, you'll then face either Fiend or Goddes.
Path#2 is a bit harder, as you'll face Ultima Buster, Gold Dragon and then depending on how the switch happens, you'll face Guardian and Demon or Goddess.
Path#3 is about as hard as Path#2. You'll face Inferno, Skull Dragon and then either Guardian and Demon, or just Fiend.
Bottomline: if there's a party you're not quite 100% confident in, put them on Path#1.
Bosses Stats:
Ultima Buster - 55,000 HP
Gold Dragon - 32,400 HP (Weak against Water)
Inferno - 30,800 HP (Weak against Lightning)
Skull Dragon - 32,800 HP (Weak against Fire and Holy)
Guardian - 60,000 HP (Weak against Lightning and Water)
Goddess - 44,000 HP
Demon - 58,000 HP (Weak against Poison)
Fiend - 65,000 HP (Weak against Holy)
These weaknesses are helpful, but really if you have one or party members that know Ultima and have good Magic stats, you should be fine. After you defeat 'Demon, you'll see a save point and a hole. This save point is your last chance to take a break before the final battle.
