We start this part by doing a sidequest that gets Barret a new weapon. I did it first because I was going to explore the area if this gave us the chocobo, but we get access to them after the reactor visit.

Our first visit to the reactor has all the male party members heading there. Cait Sith starts in the party, but you can take him out for Red instead. Once we reach the end of the dungeon, we fight Specimen H1024 at 57:24 . This boss uses a bunch of big attacks with mako and buffs itself. Pretty straight forward.

After that fight, it'll be the girls turn to go to the reactor so we play as a party of them. They get through it a bit faster since Tifa can use the grappling gun. Once we reach the end for a second time, we fight Scarlet at 1:28:20 . Scarlet uses various different mech arms throughout the fight and destroying them opens her up for damage. The 2nd phase, she focuses on using drill arms and has them fly around doing rocket punches. I had her at low health at one point so I tried to just focus on her and ignore the arms, but she really doesn't take much damage without taking them out first and she'll fly out of range of most attacks, so you really just want to keep targeting them no matter what.

After that, Cloud starts to have some...mental problems. He always has, even back in Remake, but here is where it starts getting extreme and he outright attacks Tifa. We'll see this become more and more of an issue later in the game.
