Previously, Heorot picked up some new spells and then returned to Beaucedine Glacier, where he reached Level 40 as Red Mage. Now, he will work on Bastok Mission 4-1: "Magicite". This is the only Rank 4 mission, but it is fairly long and involved. It requires Tenshodo membership, so he will preface it with the quest "Tenshodo Membership". And "Tenshodo Membership" requires some fame in Jeuno, so Heorot will gain some fame first.
Heorot resumes at his Mog House in Bastok. After getting some funds from his delivery box, he heads out.
Port Bastok (time 1:13):
Fame in Jeuno is tied to fame in the three starting cities. Heorot will gain fame by picking up La Theine Cabbages in San d'Oria and trading them to Melyon in Selbina for the quest "Only the Best". This will raise his fame in San d'Oria and Bastok, and consequently in Jeuno.
With the nearby Home Point, Heorot teleports to Home Point #4 in Southern San d'Oria.
Southern San d'Oria (time 1:35):
Heorot visits Raimbroy's Grocery at E-8. From the merchant Aveline, he picks up six stacks of twelve La Theine Cabbages. Aveline sells them when San d'Oria ranks #1 or #2 in conquest.
If San d'Oria ranks #3, you will have to find Zulkheim's regional merchant in the country that currently controls Zulkheim. If San d'Oria is in control, the merchant is Phamelise at K-9 in Southern San d'Oria. If Bastok is in control, the merchant is Rosswald at J-7 in Port Bastok. If Windurst is in control, the merchant is Bin Stejihna at G-8 in Windurst Woods. If no one controls Zulkheim, you will have to wait. Kopopo, the cooking guild merchant at E-8 in Windurst Waters, may also sell them.
Afterwards, Heorot teleports to Selbina in the Zulkheim region.
Selbina (time 3:11):
At I-9, Heorot repeatedly trades five La Theine Cabbages to Melyon for the quest "Only the Best". For every 5 La Theine Cabbages, Heorot earns 100 gil and easy fame. In total, Heorot hands in 70 La Theine Cabbages.
Now, Heorot will go check his fame. First, he teleports to Port Bastok.
Port Bastok (time 8:41):
Just outside the Steaming Sheep Restaurant in Port Bastok, Heorot finds Flaco at E-6. Flaco's response indicates that Heorot has reached rank 3 fame in Bastok.
Next, Heorot teleports to Southern San d'Oria.
Southern San d'Oria (time 9:50):
Within the Lion Springs Tavern at K-6 in Southern San d'Oria, Heorot finds Namonutice. Namonutice's response indicates that Heorot has reached rank 2 fame in San d'Oria.
Then, Heorot teleports to Lower Jeuno.
Lower Jeuno (time 11:29):
At H-8 in Lower Jeuno, Heorot finds Mendi at a table across from Waag-Deeg's Magic Shop. Mendi's response indicates that Heorot has reached rank 2 fame in Jeuno. That should be adequate to start "Tenshodo Invite".
At I-7, Heorot enters the Neptune's Spire Inn. Within, he speaks to the receptionist, Ghebi Damomohe. If his rank is sufficient, there will be a blank response under, "I'm fine." He should select this. Ghebi tells him about the Tenshodo, though she does not come out and say that its founder was a pirate! Heorot must either acquire a Tenshodo Invite from another player that has joined the Tenshodo or acquire a Tenshodo Application Form from the Tenshodo branch in Bastok. Tenshodo Invites are sometimes available on the auction house. This unofficially starts the quest "Tenshodo Membership", but it does not appear on the quest log yet.
Next, Heorot teleports to Port Bastok.
Port Bastok (time 15:49):
Northeast of the Steaming Sheep, Heorot enters Warehouse 2 at F-6. Within, he talks to Jabbar. Just like that, Jabbar gives Heorot a Tenshodo Application Form, a temporary key item. How accommodating!
Heorot teleports back to Lower Jeuno.
Lower Jeuno (time 18:05):
In the Neptune's Spire Inn, Heorot reports to Ghebi Damomohe at I-7. Taking the application form, she gives Heorot the Tenshodo Member's Card, a permanent key item granting him access to Tenshodo facilities in Jeuno and Bastok. She also issues a Tenshodo Invite that Heorot can give or sell to another player. "Tenshodo Membership" complete!
Heorot puts his Tenshodo Invite up for sale on the auction house. Then, he teleports to Ru'Lude Gardens in Jeuno.
Ru'Lude Gardens (time 20:44):
At H-10 on the upper walkway, Heorot finds Morlepiche. Morlepiche is a Jeunoan conquest officer that will help an adventurer no matter their nationality. How helpful! Heorot gets his Signet renewed. Then, he trades four crystals to increase his rank points.
The description is continued in the comments.
