Previously, Heorot acquired the Airship Pass for Kazham the financially responsible way. Then, he took the airship from Jeuno to Kazham, where he examined the town's Home Point and Survival Guide. He can now teleport there quickly. Now, Heorot will shop for spells and a new weapon. Then, he will head to Kazham and check out the jungles.

Heorot resumes at his Mog House in Bastok. Upon checking his delivery box, he receives payment for the Tenshodo Invite he put on auction. Thanks to the purchaser!

Heorot heads out to Bastok Mines.

Bastok Mines (time 0:52):

Heorot teleports to Windurst Waters.

Windurst Waters (time 1:14):

Heorot heads to the Federal Magic Reserve at G-8 in the southern part of Windurst Waters. From Hilkomu-Makimu, he picks up a Scroll of Water II. He uses it to learn the Black Magic spell Water II.

Then, Heorot teleports to Upper Jeuno.

Upper Jeuno (time 3:37):

In Upper Jeuno, Heorot heads to Viette's Finest Weapons at H-8. From Coumuna, he picks up the Mythril Degen, a Level 36 sword, and then equips it. A bit pricey!

Heorot teleports to Lower Jeuno.

Lower Jeuno (time 5:35):

Heorot browses Waag-Deeg's Magic Shop but does not pick up anything. Next, he teleports to Kazham in the Elshimo Lowlands region.

Kazham (time 7:47):

Heorot passes through the Village Gate at F-9 and exits to Yuhtunga Jungle.

Yuhtunga Jungle (time 9:27):

Heorot begins exploring the Yuhtunga Jungle. Look at that, a heatwave right away! Yuhtunga Jungle is a bit complicated with tunnels that are not shown on the map. It helps to find a decent map online.

Just south of the town entrance, he finds a banner at G-6.

Yuhtunga Jungle is a good place to find fourth-tier Goblins: Goblin Furriers, Pathfinders, Shamans, and Smithies.

In the south of Yuhtunga Jungle, Heorot finds the Elshimo Lowlands Outpost at G-11. Heorot examines the Survival Guide so that he can teleport to it later.

Heorot can also find fifth-tier Goblins in the more extreme areas of this zone: Goblin Poachers, Reapers, Robbers, and Traders.

Heorot reaches Level 43 as Red Mage.

At I-11, Heorot exits east to Yhoator Jungle in the Elshimo Uplands.

Yhoator Jungle (time 36:07):

Yhoator Jungle is in a new region, the Elshimo Uplands. As such, Yuhtunga and Yhoator may be held by separate nations.

As with Yuhtunga, unmapped tunnels make Yhoator a little complicated to explore. To make matters worse, the eastern section is inhabited by a previously unencountered type of beastman, Tonberries. Tonberries' special ability, Everyone's Grudge, deals damage based on the number of Tonberries the target has defeated. Fortunately, this number can be reset by carrying out the quest "Everyone's Grudge" in Norg.

At I-8 in the eastern clearing, Heorot finds the Elshimo Uplands Outpost. The Outpost is in Tonberry territory, so take care. Heorot examines the Survival Guide so that he can teleport to it later.

Heorot also examines the Field Manual. He takes on the Page 1 individual training to defeat 3 White Lizards and 6 members of the Goblin Family in Yhoator Jungle per training regime.

At F-9, Heorot finds a Telepoint. He examines it to acquire the Yhoator Gate Crystal, a permanent key item. Now, he can teleport or be teleported here with the appropriate spell. Chocobo rental is also available here.

Fourth-tier Goblins and White Lizards can be found near the northern pair of entrances from Yuhtunga Jungle in the west. White Lizards tend to appear in and near the tunnels.

Heorot will do the bulk of his training next time.
