Previously, Heorot continued training against Tonberries in Yhoator Jungle as a White Mage and reached Level 50. Now, he will switch to Red Mage for further grinding.

Heorot resumes at his Mog House in Bastok. He changes jobs to Level 50 Red Mage with White Mage as support. It would sure be nice to get some treasure chests with better gear.

When he is ready, Heorot heads out.

Bastok Mines (time 1:56):

Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to Yhoator Jungle, Elshimo Uplands.

Yhoator Jungle (time 3:12):

Heorot resumes training against Tonberries in Yhoator Jungle. After the first one, he uses the Field Manual and takes on the Page 5 individual training to defeat 10 members of the Tonberry family per training regime.

Soon, Heorot reaches Level 51 as Red Mage.

When his sword skill reaches 150, Heorot learns the weapon skill Circle Blade.

In this video, Heorot goes a little farther afield to other clearings where Tonberries spawn. They are all over the southeast part of the jungle.

One Tonberry Hexer drops a Rancor Tank, a rare-exclusive item. This must be for a quest.

Later, Heorot reaches Level 52 as Red Mage.

There is a banner at J-10. I wonder why it's a beastmen banner when the Elshimo Uplands is under Bastok's control right now. Curious.

Near the end, Heorot fights the Bright-Handed Kunberry, a Tonberry notorious monster. He uses the Raising Earring beforehand, but the battle turns out all right. Talk about insane evasion, though.

When he is done hunting Tonberries, Heorot uses the Survival Guide at the Outpost at I-8 to teleport to Bastok Mines.

Bastok Mines (time 59:20):

At the auction house, Heorot puts another stack of Light Crystals up for sale. Hopefully, someone will buy 'em one of these days. At the Chocobo Stables, he visits Neigepance, the merchant, to sell off some more loot. Tonberry Coats sell fairly well in bulk.

Then, Heorot heads to the Residential Area.

Mog House (time 1:02:31):

After a little inventory management, Heorot signs off. Next time, he will work on the next level limit quest.
