This is video #058 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy IV for the PC. This is episode 18 of the second playthrough. I am playing on Hard mode.

Previously, the party visited the Dwarven Castle after leaving the Tower of Babil. King Giott gave them Luca's Necklace so they could infiltrate the Sealed Cave and retrieve the Crystal. Cid upgraded the Falcon to fly over magma. Then, the party checked out Kokkol's Forge and the town of Tomra. Finally, they explored part of the Sylph Cave and found that Yang, too, had survived. Luckily, they also obtained a Ribbon from a Bog Witch. Now, they will explore the rest of the Sylph Cave to get the remaining treasures. Then, they will go to the Passage of the Eidolons, the road to the Feymarch.

The party resumes in the Underworld outside the Sylph Cave. They enter the cave.

Sylph Cave (time 0:56):

The party starts on floor B1. To the south, they go downstairs to floor B2.

Rosa reaches Level 48. Cecil reaches Level 49.

To the northwest on B2, the party goes downstairs to floor B3. They arrive in the northern section west of the center. To the north, they find chests that contain a Hi-Potion, a Maiden's Kiss, and a Faerie Rod. Rydia equips the Faerie Rod right away.

Near the stairway from B2, the party finds a hidden passage in the eastern wall. It leads northeast to the northern part of a circular mapped room in the north.

The party takes the northern exit up to floor B2. They are now in the eastern section.

In the middle of the north-south corridor, there is a side room off to the west. The chests in this room contain 3,000 gil, 2,000 gil, a Remedy, and a Bomb Core.

Kain reaches Level 50. Edge reaches Level 46.

In the southeast room, the chests contain an Emergency Exit, a Maiden's Kiss, an Ether, and a Maiden's Kiss.

The southeast hole leads down to floor B3. The party starts in a long north-south corridor in the east. In the north, a hidden corridor leads west to the southern part of the circular room.

The party finds a teleporter. It takes them to the Sylphs' Cache, the last part of the dungeon. There are six treasure chests here, each a monster-in-a-box.

Rydia reaches Level 49.

The southwest chest contains a Moonring Blade guarded by a Malboro and two Elder Treants. Edge equips the Moonring Blade after the battle.

Rosa reaches Level 49. Cecil reaches Level 50.

The south-central chest contains an Avenger guarded by two Malboros.

The southeast chest contains a quiver of Medusa Arrows guarded by two Tunnelers.

The northeast chest contains a Blue Fang guarded by four Evil Dreamers.

The north-central chest contains a White Fang guarded by four Evil Dreamers.

The northwest chest contains a Red Fang guarded by four Evil Dreamers.

Edge reaches Level 47.

In the east, the party finds a stairway leading back out to the Underworld.

Underworld (time 31:07):

The party flies to the Dwarven Base.

Dwarven Base (time 31:33):

The party uses the healing pot to restore their HP and MP. Then, they leave again.

Underworld (time 31:57):

The party flies to the west. On an island west of the Dwarven Castle and northwest of Tomra, they find the entrance to the Passage of the Eidolons.

Before they get inside, Kain reaches Level 51.

Passage of the Eidolons (time 33:56):

The party starts on floor B1. As they step forward, Rydia suggests they continue to the Feymarch and ask the Eidolons for help.

As in the Sylph Cave, Rosa should put Float on the party each time they change maps so they can avoid the damage floors. Floating also lets the party avoid damage from Arachnes' Earthquake abilities. Fortunately, this cave is not as complicated as the Sylph Cave.

Rydia reaches Level 50 and learns the Bardsong Hero's Rime.

In the northeast, a chest contains a Phoenix Down. A hidden passage leads west to a small mapped chamber, where a chest contains an Ether.

Rosa reaches Level 50. Cecil reaches Level 51.

In the southeast, a chest contains a Hi-Potion.

In the west, the party goes downstairs to floor B2.

In the southeast of B2, a chest contains a Hi-Potion.

Edge reaches Level 48.

In the north, a chest contains a Cottage.

In the east, the party takes a stairway down to floor B3.

In the southwest of B3, a chest contains a Phoenix Down. Through a hidden passage to the west, more chests contain a Kiku-ichimonji, a Poison Axe, and a Hi-Potion. Cecil equips the Poison Axe.

In the southeast, a chest contains a Bestiary.

Kain reaches Level 52.
