Final Fantasy XI Online (2002~) - my first MMORPG in 2020 - Let's Play - Session 3
0Final Fantasy XI Online (or "FFXI") was originally released in Japan in 2002 and a year or so later in the US and Europe, on PS2 and PC. It was later released on Xbox360, but now only the PC version remains active and supported.
I have never played this game, or any MMORPG before. However, eighteen years since it was first released, I'm finally giving it a go. I don't know what to expect or if I will play beyond my free subscription, but here is my third session with the game. Apologies for the aspect ratio error making everyone look squat; this was not something I realised until later.
In this shorter session, I continue to run a couple of errands, level up a few more times and get killed by some tougher enemies down south. I haven't met anyone who I could go on adventures with, so it's a very lonely game.
