Previously, we started Episode Ignis. Ignis liberated some districts of Accordo on the way to the eastern bridge. Now, there is a boat ready for him by the northern docks, but the Empire has overtaken more districts in Altissia.

After resuming, Ignis liberates Altissia's western districts from Imperial occupation. After some of the western districts are retaken, the Imperials take Padore District in the south-center of the city. After Noctis liberates the Padore District, he has retaken the entire city.

By the northern docks, he talks to the marked soldier. Afterwards, he can take the boat and try to head to the altar. However, Caligo, still steaming from Fort Vaullerey, causes him problems.

At Patore District, Ignis must fight Caligo in his MA-X Aureus. Padore District will be retaken once Caligo is defeated. Then, Ignis will get an unexpected helping hand.

Then, Chapter 2: Chances begins. Ignis teams up with Ravus. After they clear out yet more Imperials from the Padore District, Ravus opens up the way towards the altar. There is an opportunity to shop along the way, and there is also an opportunity for a heart-to-heart with Ravus.

As they continue on, they can stealth-kill a few Magitek armors. There are more soldiers to take out in the Pitra District in the southeast. There will also be Magitek armors and Coeurls in later waves.

Talking to Ravus to continue to the altar is a point of no return. Ignis shops and saves first.

Next time, Ignis will proceed to the final battles of this episode.
