Final Fantasy XV [PS4] Playthrough #005, The Three Valleys: The Mutant Marauder

Previously, the party set out to slay some pests for "Pauper Prince" and then rescue a hunter named Dave for "Hunter Becomes the Hunted". Now, Dave has issued them the quest "The Mutant Marauder" to defeat a massive beast to the north.
By a wreck northeast of Dave's cabin, there is a Sharp Bone (time 1:39).
There is a mineral deposit by a ridge northwest of the cabin (time 2:18). The party finds Silver Dust and Prismatic Dust. Unfortunately, this is used to formulate car paint, not to make or upgrade equipment. I prefer to just sell this stuff, to be honest.
As they close in on the target area, the party discuss their target (time 3:40)
To the north, they approach their target (time 4:20). This is the Bloodhorn alluded to by the note in the shack. The objective becomes to take down the Bloodhorn. It is sort of the first boss in the game, but not too hard. When Gladio uses his Tempest technique, it levels up.
After Bloodhorn is down, Cindy calls again (time 6:02). After thanking them for helping Dave, she says the Regalia is ready. The objective is now to retrieve the Regalia at Hammerhead.
In the Bloodhorn's area, there is a mineral deposit on the western ridge (time 6:40). The party finds a few Silver Dusts.
There is an food spot to the east (time 7:26). It yields Birdbeast Eggs.
A dirt road leads northeast from the Three Valleys parking spot. Near its intersection with the paved road, the party hears a call for help (time 8:28). This reveals the sidequest "Search and Rescue". The person must find and help a person in distress.
Behind a rocky mound on the northern side of the dirt road, the party finds the target person (time 9:06). Noct gives him a Potion. Quest "Search and Rescue" complete! Each party member earns 300 EXP. The party earns 500 gil.
For completing the first sidequest, the player earns the trophy "Spinning a Yarn I".
A scene plays as the party heads toward Hammerhead (time 10:06). A massive flying creature buzzes them!
They take a detour towards Cotisse Haven, the campsite north of Hammerhead.
Prompto's Piercer levels up again when he uses it (time 14:05).
There is an old water tower north of Cotisse Haven (time 15:00). Noct can jump to its base to get Oracle Acension Coin #002.
After sucking up some elemental energy, the party camps at Cotisse Haven (time 16:35). Prompto reaches Photography Level 2 and gains the Roadtrip filter. The player earns the trophy "Photo Rookie" for leveling up Prompto's photography the first time.
Ignis approaches Noctis that evening (time 18:38). He asks for Noct's help cooking breakfast in the morning. Certainly. This begins a camp tour.
The tour "Stirred, Not Shaken" starts in the morning (time 19:34). Noctis must stir the pot so that the stew does not burn. Just flick the left control stick from side to side. Got to love the cooking puns. For completing "Stirred, Not Shaken", the party earns 20 AP.
After the tour, the party is free to move on (time 22:03). Time to head back to Hammerhead.
In Hammerhead, they talk to Cindy, who is standing out by the car (time 23:42). "The Mutant Marauder" is completed. Each party member earns 200 EXP. Prompto gets Cindy to take an epic photo of the party around the car. Then, Cindy asks the party to make a delivery for her. Noctis accepts without question. The party earns 50 EXP. Cindy issues the story quest "The Errand Prince". Her delivery will go to the motel owner at the Longwythe Rest Area along the way to Galdin Quay. Then, Ignis offers to let Noctis drive. Noctis accepts the offer. He can now drive manually for a short time.
Noctis can now talk to Cindy to customize and accessorize the Regalia. She can also remodel it into the Regalia Type-D for off-road driving, but there will be a better off-road option after a while.
Inside Cid's garage, the party can find a Phoenix Down near the entrance (time 26:35). In the back, they find a Hi-Potion (time 26:52).
Cid is also inside to heckle Noctis.
Next time, the party will roam eastern Leide and head down to the Longwythe Rest Area.
