We also played some Final Fight 3 again recently to get hyped for the next SF6 character announcements. I mainly wanted to play Dean, who nobody seems to know about lol. Final Fight 3 was a SNES exclusive with an expanded move set, allowing you to perform special moves and supers with motion inputs similar to fighting games. There's also more mobility in general since you can run now. This time around, Guy and Haggar are playable, as are two new characters, Lucia and Dean. One interesting thing Capcom added was the option to play single-player with a CPU-controlled partner. Dean is a heavy hitter with very long range, electrical powers, and a lot of grabs. Lucia is more about speed, with longer combos and tons of kicks. The sprite work still looks great, and the bosses are huge in this game. The levels added alternate routes by breaking doorways in the background with various attacks. I didn't realize this till later in my run, so I'll make sure to explore that more the next time I get a chance to play since this is a game you can complete quite quickly.
