I thought it would be fun to play some Final Fight 2 again to hype up the new character announcements for SF6. We recently played the original too, so we started with the sequel. Final Fight 2 never came out for arcades, so this isn't a port. You can actually play two players at once, but Guy and Cody are still missing, sadly. At least there's two brand new characters. Maki uses the same quick ninjutsu fighting style as Guy's Bushin-Ryu. Carlos is a well-rounded fighter and also carries a sword for his special. Haggar's playable still too; he's slow but very powerful. The story this time around is about Guy's master and fiancée, who is also Maki's sister, getting kidnapped, and we have to rescue them by traveling the world. Not too much has changed in terms of gameplay or mechanics. It's great for some classic couch coop and isn't too time-consuming.
