Fatal Fury 2 introduces a larger playable roster, including Mai, one of the most famous female video game characters. She's a ninja that zones with fans and fire techniques; she also has a stage-specific attack. FF2 came out a year after the original with a bunch of tweaks. The sprites and animations look a lot better, and you now have access to four attack buttons with weak and strong punches or kicks. You can also access the different rows on the stage without attacking this time. Finally, there's supers now when you're low on health and the bar is flashing red. I really like the single-player aspect of the game, where each fight feels like a mini-boss level. The final battle is definitely something I will never forget.
