In this chapter it can be easy, but if you are caught off guard you can have a hard time.

For this chapter it is highly recommended to take some air units, not only to transport units but also to rescue civilians, but also to visit the houses on the upper right side of the map.
Keep in mind that on turn 3, a Thief will come out and in the same turn he will start destroying the houses, you can use air units to visit the houses or you can even use some units with Rewarp to visit the houses as fast as possible.

There are 2 recruitment here, but you can only take 1 of them. For this you have to fulfil the following requirements:

-For Saias to be recruited for later chapters the only requirement is to NOT RECRUIT CID. So simple, if you want to avoid Ced appearing the first thing you have to know is when you enter a certain area of the map and at the end of the turn Ced will appear and kill Alphan. To avoid this you have to kill Alphan, before the end of the turn. If you kill Alphan, Ced will not appear.
In case Ced appears, try to rescue Ced with some units and take him away and reclaim the castle with Leif. This way, the recruited will be Saias and not Ced.

-For Ced, it's simple. Basically you enter a certain area and don't kill the boss. When Ced appears, you will have to talk to Leif in order to recruit him.

NOTE: If you decide to recruit Ced, try to take all of Saias' inventory.

The strategy for Saias, there are several ways to do it: You can kill the boss with rank 3-10 magic, you can send a unit with warp and kill the boss and then use Rescue or basically leave him there and let him take care of the rest of the units (if he can tanky them).

STRATEGY:

For this map it is recommended to take several air units, it is necessary to transport, rescue units and use it also for the houses. But also for another reason (in case you don't have warp).
And that is to block the way, to prevent units from going after civilians.
You can always send a unit immediately with warp near the castle, but in Forest terrain effect, not only to dodge but also to withstand the blows better. From there, the enemies will not concentrate on chasing the civilians.

If you decide to go for Saias for the recruitment, I recommend that you kill the boss before the end of Turn 2, to avoid several problems, you avoid that the reinforcements of the enemy Turn 2 appear, which are Altehan Corutta and his Dracoknight, if you kill the boss in Turn 2 or before, they won't appear. But besides that you also prevent the boss from getting the Poison Tome 3-10 rank on Turn 5.

In this map there are 2 Sorcerers that have Sleep Staff, if you have Silence or Sleep, use them just at the beginning of the chapter, to cancel them and later you can capture them and get their inventory is highly recommended because the Sleep Staff will help you a lot in the next chapter.

You must be very careful when it starts on Turn 3, as there will appear the reinforcements not only the ones that come out of the fort (near the ballistas) but also the Sorcerers and this is when it becomes dangerous, as they will appear randomly and therefore if you are caught off guard and can kill you.
It is therefore advisable to be in an area where the Sorcerers do not come out and if you know the Spots where the Sorcerers come out just block them so that they do not come out and so you can establish a safe area as long as you block the area where the Sorcerers come out at all times.
