We have stopped the Elusian forces at the border, and we have another encounter with Veyle, who tells them where Destinea Cathedral is. This is where Hyacinth is waiting for us, and where he has taken Morion to start a ritual to resurrect the Fell Dragon, and we must get there to try and stop the ritual.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

While we couldn't help Morion out, and he is taken to Destinea Cathedral, we don't know if he really was killed in that battle or not, because when Hyacinth brought out his Emblem Ring, the Emblem that was summoned fired an arrow at close range. We did get a new unit from that battle, and Jade is recruited automatically if you don't talk to her and she survives that battle, that is if you somehow don't bring Diamant into that battle, as he is one of the best units at this point in the game, specially if you promote him to Successeur around then.
We then encounter Veyle, who tells Alear and the others directions to the cathedral, and she somehow takes interest in the Emblem Ring before leaving. There isn't anything in the Somniel that opens up on this chapter, and when you start the next chapter, you do go through a series of battles and you don't return to the Somniel for a while.
As with Jade, she is a decent unit as she does come as an Axe Armor, and she can make use of Hold Out and Vantage, Hold Out can really help against magic attacks, and she can pair well with Roy or Leif for Emblems she can make use of. She is not a bad unit, but she does compete with Louis as an Armored unit, and we have had Louis since Chapter 4.
About the next chapter, you will want to make some preparations and pick up some skills from different Emblems, for example, Alear will want Hold Out from Roy, if you have up to 2000 SP, that is the best time to pick it up. Unyielding from Marth has the unit heal 20% of the unit's maximum HP if their HP is below 20% and that is one you want to pick up.
I explore the Somniel and view some support conversations, as well as work on some Emblems for different skills that I want to pick up on most of my units, because not only can you not return to the Somniel for a while after Chapter 10, and this is the right time to get some skills from Emblems.
As Jade is the only unit we have recruited, I will list which units she can support with aside from Alear, and here is a list of them out of the units we have at this point:
Etie, Louis, Jean, Diamant, Amber

There isn't really much else to go over, and I don't like how difficult the skirmishes are in this game, they make enemy units even more difficult than the upcoming chapter, if there was a way to change the difficulty of the skirmish, then it would make it easier to level up your lower level units, as well as work on increasing support between different units.
