Here is the Ditto Spotlight event, and this event is themed around Ditto that have 31 IVs in at least 5 stats, making them good for breeding competitive Pokémon, in rare occasions, you can even find Ditto with 0 IVs in Attack for Special Attackers, 0 IVs for Speed, making them good for Pokémon that work best in Trick Room, and very rarely, a Ditto with 31 IVs in all 6 stats.
The best strategy to fight the Ditto is the host to use an unevolved Pokémon with basic moves like Scratch or Tackle, or you can bring in a Magikarp while the others bring in some very powerful Pokémon that can take down Ditto in one hit. There aren't many options for a solo Tera Raid, I have heard that Hisuain Zoroark is the best option, as it is immune to both STAB moves, and after setting up Nasty Plot enough times, it can get in some damage with Shadow Ball and Hyper Voice.
For rewards, you can get an Everstone or a Destiny Knot very rarely, and those items are good for breeding, all Ditto in the event have the Hidden Ability of Imposter, which is a good Ability for Ditto in competitive battling, and Choice Scarf is a popular item as that allows Ditto to always outspeed the Pokémon it is transformed into.
Around that time, the Unrivaled Samurott event is happening, that is the 7 Star Bug Tera Samurott, and I find it to be very difficult, and one counter I didn't list was the Blaze Breed of Paldean Tauros, this is because it is weak to Water, but I have had one attempt where one of my teammates used one with Anger Point, and after enough uses of Screech from teammates like Koraidon, that Tauros managed to take down Samurott in one hit with Flare Blitz, the reason I didn't include Tauros was because of its weakness to Water, and as it uses Focus Energy on the first turn, Samurott will very likely score critical hits, and as I have seen players lock in Fire-type Pokémon to take advantage of its Bug Tera Type, that is not a good strategy because Aqua Cutter can take down Fire-type Pokémon in one hit, that is if they have very low Defense.
