We get introduced to our first Paralogue, and this one is exclusive to the Blue Lions route. Byleth learns from Dedue and Dimitri that there is a rebellion between the people of Duscur and the knights from Faerghus, and that another massacre will happen if the fighting between the two forces isn't stopped, much like the Tragedy of Duscur years ago. Even if the Duscur forces are our enemies, we must try and rescue as many as we can before the Kingdom knights defeat them.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

This is the first paralogue in the game, and this one is called War for the Weak, this paralogue is exclusive to the Blue Lions route, it is Dedue's paralogue, and since Dedue cannot be recruited outside of the Blue Lions route, this is the only route this paralogue appears in.
You have to fight a lot of Duscur soldiers, well really it is to rescue them, but the Kingdom Knights will take them down and cause another tragedy to happen. You have 15 turns to complete this paralogue, and this is my second attempt, because I ended up getting a Game Over on my first attempt, and if you haven't seen the Game Over seen for this game, it will show some Heroes' Relics in some gray background, this scene was used for one of Byleth's victory poses in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The possible ways to get a Game Over include using up all of your Divine Pulses and you fail the mission, like having Byleth get defeated in battle, or fail an objective, for this paralogue, if the Duscur General is defeated by the Kingdom forces, you will fail.
The Duscur Soldiers are in different classes, like Mercenary, Brawler, Brigand, Armored Knight, Mage, Archer, Cavalier, and many others, while the Duscur General is a Warrior class. The Kingdom forces will try to defeat as many Duscur Soldiers as they can, and they can withdraw from battle once all the Duscur Soldiers from the western side are defeated, a Thief has a Steel Sword, and a Cavalier has a Talisman Shield, which boosts Defense by 1 and Resistance by 3.
What makes this very hard is that you can only deploy up to 8 units, including Byleth and Dedue. If you have a Battalion with Stride, you can send some units to where the Duscur General is and try to defeat him before the Kingdom forces get to him. Dedue does have special dialogue when he fights the Duscur General, or if you brought Dimitri for this mission, he does have special battle quotes if you let him fight the Duscur General. The Duscur General can be a tough opponent, he has a lot of Strength and HP, and he has Axe Crit +10, so he has a good chance of getting a crit if he uses an axe, and he does have good Dexterity, but he doesn't have the best Resistance, so if you brought any magic users, they should be able to target his lower Resistance.
When you have defeated the Duscur General, you get some rewards depending on how many Duscur Soldiers you have defeated, you get a Bullion if you defeated less than 10, Large Bullion if you defeated 10 to 19, or an Extra Large Bullion if you defeated 20 or more, and you will earn a Battalion called the Duscur Heavy Soldiers, which gives a boost to Strength, Defense, and Charm, and they have a Gambit called Line of Lances, which is effective against Cavalry units. If you complete this paralogue, something special will happen in the second half of the game, which I will not spoil what it is, but it is worth completing this paralogue.
In Paralogue battles, Tempest of Season plays, and I like that song. One thing I could explain about is Intermediate Classes, and you will need an Intermediate Seal and at Level 10 for those.
First up is Lord, which is exclusive to Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude, and requires Sword to be at D+ and Authority at C. Mercenary requires Sword rank to be at C or higher, Thief has the same requirements as Mercenary, C or higher for Sword, Cavalier requires Lance at C and Riding at D, Pegasus Knight requires Lance at C and Flying at D, and only female units can access that class. Brigand requires Axe at C, Armored Knight requires C rank in Axe and D in Heavy Armor, Archer requires Bow at C rank, Brawler is a male exclusive class that requires C rank in Brawl, Mage requires C rank in Reason, Dark Mage is the same requirement, except you will need a Dark Seal, which is obtained by defeating the Death Knight, and only male units can access that class, and last up is Priest, which requires Faith to be at C rank.
