I used: Froslass, Luxray, and Heat Rotom
My Opponent used: Gardevoir, Whimsicott, and Milotic
Stadium: Hammerlocke
Battle BGM: Marnie 2

I come across an opponent with a team of some Pokémon that are not commonly used, with the exception of Whimsicott, which is a commonly used Pokémon, but I feel that Whimsicott sees more use in Double Battles than in Single Battles, and I did like how he had Trick on his Gardevoir, because this does reminds me of a set that I used on a Gardevoir in my earlier Sword & Shield online battles, and I did like how my opponent used Milotic in that fight as well.
This one I test out some new additions to the team, this is a Physical Froslass, and if you didn't know already, Froslass has equal base Attack and Special Attack, but what held Froslass back from being a Physical Attacker was that she did not have access to a good Physical Ghost-type move, and now with Poltergeist in the game, that is a 110 power Physical Ghost-type move that will only work if the target is holding an item. My Froslass has Triple Axel as well, this move can hit up to 3 times, and even if she can learn Ice Punch and Icicle Crash, Triple Axel can have up to 120 power if all 3 hits do succeed, and she does have Destiny Bond for taking down opponents that finish off Froslass on that turn, I find it much better to use if Froslass is faster than the opponent.
Then for my Luxray, she has Guts for her Ability, and is equipped with a Flame Orb, so she can get in some huge damage with moves like Wild Charge, Superpower, and Play Rough, and she has Agility to gain a boost in Speed, because I find that Luxray's Speed stat is a bit average for an Electric-type, and it is good to see Luxray get even better moves like Play Rough and Superpower, because I remember back in Gen 4 when Luxray's high Attack stat was held back when its best Electric-type move was Spark, while Thunder Fang had the same base power as Spark, except it had 95% Accuracy, while Spark had 100% Accuracy, and the only coverage moves Luxray had were Fire Fang, Ice Fang, and Crunch. It was good that Luxray got Wild Charge in Gen 5, and I believe it was in Platinum that Luxray can get Superpower through Move Tutor, so at least that is an improvement, and access to Agility was what gave Luxray a huge improvement for online battles, it is good to see a Pokémon that had weak coverage options become a decently good Physical attacker.
The nice thing about Froslass's Poltergeist is the ability to see what item my opponent has, and most of the time your opponents will always have items, unless you are up against players using story teams, I have even come across opponents that had unevolved Pokémon with weak moves as if they are early in the game, I wouldn't start online battles if you just started the adventure.
