Fire Emblem: Three Houses Playthrough 24 (Blue Lions): Battle of the Eagle and Lion
1The time has come, it is the mock battle between all three houses on Gronder Field in a test to prove who the best out of the three is. There is a good reward if Byleth's class defeats the most enemies, but unlike the mock battle back in Chapter 1, this one is a bigger fight, as all the students will participate in the battle.

This chapter is a huge mock battle between all three houses, and we get a really cool cutscene where the house leaders leading their forces and their soldiers rush into battle, and I like this song that plays for this map, it is called "Blue Skies and a Battle", it is one of my favourite songs in the game.
Byleth and the Blue Lion house will be on the northern part of the map, while the Black Eagles will be the southwestern part of the map, and the Golden Deer will be at the southeastern part of the map, if you are playing the Golden Deer route, the Blue Lions will be on the southeastern part, and if you are playing on Black Eagles, the Blue Lions will be at the southwestern part, and as this is a mock battle, if any of your units are defeated in battle, even in Classic mode, they will not die, or in this case, can be used in future battles.
One thing to note is that if you have recruited any units from other houses, they will be replaced by generic units, and since I have Marianne, Lorenz, Bernadetta, and Petra recruited, they are replaced by normal units without Crests or Personal Abilities, so they are at least easier to fight. The Golden Deer students will be replaced with Alliance Generals, and Black Eagles students will be replaced with Imperial Generals, and since Hubert cannot be recruited outside of Black Eagles, you will always have to fight him no matter what.
At the middle of the map is a Ballista, which Bernadetta will be on, and she will fire arrows at you, if you are playing on the Black Eagles route, it would be Ashe using the Ballista. The Ballista allows you to fire arrows at enemies from far away, so any of your Archers can make good use of it.
This is a competition between the three houses, so you have to defeat as many opponents than the others, and there is special dialogue where Lorenz will advance to the central hill, and Claude has some dialogue around that point, but unfortunately we won't see it in this video because I have Lorenz recruited.
If the other houses defeat enemies, they will gain stat boosts, making them harder to take down, and as this is a mock battle between the three houses, the Knights of Seiros cannot take part, well except for Flayn, as she is a student.
It will take a lot of time to go over each unit, but I will go over which items you can get, there is a chest on the southern part of the map containing a Killer Lance, you can get a Chest Key for defeating Bernadetta, or an enemy Archer if she was recruited. The Killer Lance has a very high chance of getting critical hits, so that can be good for units that have good Dexterity.
There are some units that you can steal items from, the most common being the Vulnerary, which you can take from Hubert, Petra, Bernadetta, Linhardt, Dorothea, Raphael, Ignatz, Lysithea, Marianne, and Leonie. Ferdinand will have a Leather Shield, which gives +1 Protection when wielded, Edelgard has an Accuracy Ring, and Claude has an Evasion Ring, the house leaders are tough, as Edelgard has a higher chance of getting a successful hit, and Claude can avoid attacks easier.
I will go over the house leaders, Edelgard has a Tomahawk for her weapon, which is a more powerful Hand Axe, and she has Hit +20, making it harder to dodge her attacks, and Claude has a Long Bow, giving him more range than a normal bow, and he has Close Counter, so he will counterattack if you try to fight him with a close range weapon, like a sword. For stats, Edelgard's best stats Strength, Charm, and HP, and Claude's best stats has Dexterity, Strength, and Charm, and by the way, the house leaders have special battle quotes if you have Byleth or your house leader fight them.
After defeating everyone in battle, if your house is the one that defeated the most opponents, you will earn a Blessed Lance, which deals bonus damage to Monster units and restores 10% of the user's maximum HP at the start of their phase, and in Japanese, the Blessed Lance is called the Holy Lance, and it is said to drive away evil.
