Byleth then learns about a special event called the White Heron Cup, where each house has a representative, and the winner of the event can become the Dancer class, and there is one unit that can make a good Dancer.

I couldn't believe how lucky I got against the Death Knight in Chapter 8, if you have seen the previous part, you would know, because I was not expecting what happened.
As for this chapter, Byleth receives his next mission, which is to investigate the chapel near the Monastery, and Jeralt will be away for the month. There are a lot of events happening this month, there is a special ball happening at the end of the month, and if you talk to the Gatekeeper, you can choose a unit to activate a special event, the units are the ones Byleth can have a possible S Support conversation with, I will list the choices you can pick.
Male Byleth: Edelgard, Linhardt, Bernadetta, Dorothea, Petra, Mercedes, Annette, Ingrid, Lysithea, Marianne, Hilda, Leonie, Flayn
Female Byleth: Edelgard, Dimitri, Claude, Hubert, Ferdinand, Linhardt, Caspar, Dorothea, Dedue, Felix, Ashe, Sylvain, Mercedes, Lorenz, Raphael, Ignatz
Time to go over sidequests, and the most important one is the White Heron Cup, talk to Rhea to accept the quest, and if you talk to Manuela, she tells you that you need a unit with at least 13 Charm to win the White Heron Cup. One other thing is Hubert tells you to pick someone with better charm, and he is correct. Some good choices for your dancer is Dorothea, as this is possibly her best class, you can pick a unit that make a good Swordmaster or Assassin, like Petra or Felix, as you do get an Ability that benefits Sword users, Ferdinand can be another good option if you want to use him as either of the Sword-wielding classes. One thing I have to go over, if you are playing on the Black Eagles route, do NOT pick Flayn for your dancer, I am dead serious about this, and there is unused dialogue if Flayn loses the White Heron Cup, which never happens as Flayn's starting Charm will always be over 13 when recruited.
As for the best unit to make your Dancer on Black Eagles, the most obvious choice is Dorothea, as she is possibly the best unit for the Dancer class, and she does get Meteor at A Rank in Reason, which pairs up well with the Dancer class.
For other quests, Gilbert has one, and you have to find a book on word carving, it will be in Petra's room, report to Gilbert to complete the quest.
Next are the lost items for this chapter, I will list each unit that has a lost item.

I guess one thing I could go over is possible classes for my units, I really like how good Edelgard has been as an Archer, the main reason I put her in that class was to get Hit +20 to work around the low accuracy of axes, and while you could make her a Sniper, it is not easy to get Bow to A Rank with her, I might make her a Warrior before the second half of the game, I know most players prefer Wyvern Rider on Edelgard, and it is considered to be her best class.
About the Dark Seals, Hubert is the best choice for Dark Mage, and eventually Dark Bishop, as he is the only male magic user to use dark magic, and I have read that from Dark Bishop, you get an Ability called Lifetaker which restores 50% of the unit's HP if they defeat an enemy, and that is good for Ferdinand, but you are not that likely to work on Ferdinand's Reason skill, because he is not meant to be a magic user, but Lifetaker is a great skill for him that pairs well with his Personal Ability, I won't be putting Ferdinand into the Dark Mage class during this playthrough, as it is a lot of work. If you are doing the Black Eagles route, you are very likely to use your Dark Seals on Hubert, and at this point you would have three if you were able to beat the Death Knight back in Chapter 4. I might have Hubert go into Dark Knight for his final class, but it will take a while to work on his Riding skill if I want him to go into Dark Knight.
