Byleth and his class go to the chapel near the Monastery, which is under attack by Demonic Beasts, and we get help from Jeralt in stopping the Demonic Beasts. This should be a quick fight as there are five Demonic Beasts on this map and rescuing the students, and we get a shocking event after all of this.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

As strange as the video thumbnail looks, and why it looks inverted in colour, this was the closest that I could use without spoiling what happens in the cutscene, because let's say this is a cutscene where a shocking event happens, and this was the best I could go with.
As for this mission, there are five Demonic Beasts on this map if you are playing on Hard, it would be four on Normal, and Jeralt will fight alongside you, but he does not start moving until Turn 2, and I find the winning condition to be very unusual, because you must not let Jeralt be defeated in battle, considering what ends up happening to him after this mission. There is a chest that contains a Healing Staff, which I wouldn't say is worth going for, because you do get a Healing Staff from back in Ingrid and Dorothea's paralogue in a chest.
Every Demonic Beast on this map have Seal Strength, and each of them have a weakness to certain weapons, what I found out is that if you use the weapon that Demonic Beast is weak to, it will break the barrier in one hit instead of 2, that saves the use of Combat Arts and Gambits, or if you have a Blessed Lance, you can use that to break barriers in one attack.
The Experimental Demonic Beasts have Flame Breath for their Staggering Blow, which inflicts a -5 defense debuff on targets in range. The Demonic Beasts target students on this map, so try and use a Gambit to distract them, on Maddening, the students all have a Speed Ring each, but this is even harder on Maddening as there are even more Demonic Beasts on the map than on Hard, and Jeralt also has a Speed Ring on Maddening as well. All the students have a Concoction they can use to heal up, and one of them has an Elixir.
Jeralt does have extra movement for being a Paladin, and he can take your kills against the Demonic Beasts, he does have some good skills like Keen Intuition, Lancefaire, and Terrain Resistance to help out in this battle.
After defeating every Demonic Beast on this map, we get a depressing cutscene and then go through a lot of dialogue. When Alois visits Byleth, that scene is on any route other than Blue Lions, because on the Blue Lions route, it is Dimitri that visits Byleth. Then Byleth gives his report to Rhea, and he learns a bit of backstory on why Jeralt left the Monastery 20 years ago following the death of his wife, and before Rhea could give a bit more backstory about Byleth's mother, we get a report about the knights patrolling the area to find the enemy.
