Fire Emblem: Three Houses Playthrough 27 (Black Eagles): The Promise
0We have taken part in the White Heron Cup, and much like with my playthroughs of the Blue Lions and Golden Deer house, in the first few minutes of the video, I show off each of the Black Eagles house taking part in the White Heron Cup. Then we make a promise to meet up at the Monastery in 5 years time, which will be the Millennium Festival, and then take part in a special ball.

If you have watched my other playthroughs of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, most notably the Blue Lions and Golden Deer routes, I showed every unit from those houses taking part in the White Heron Cup, so in the first few minutes of this video, I will be showing each of the Black Eagles students taking part in the White Heron Cup.
While I did choose to make Dorothea my Dancer for this playthrough, since this is basically her best class, specially once she learns Meteor at A Rank in Reason for linked attacks. Petra and Ferdinand aren't bad choices, because you get an Ability called Sword Avo +20 if your unit wins the White Heron Cup, which is very useful if you want to make them a Swordmaster or Assassin, and as Petra's best classes are Wyvern Lord or Falcon Knight, equipping her with a Sword with that skill can make her avoid attacks easily.
The mastery Ability for Dancer is Special Dance, this gives a +4 boost to Dex, Speed, and Luck to an ally, so this is very useful if you want to keep that unit in the Dancer class.
As I do keep different saves, the most you can keep is 25, previously it used to be 5. In these attempts, I have yet to recruit certain units, like Sylvain, Lorenz, and a few others.
Then it is time for the ball, and on that night, Edelgard arranges for Byleth and the Black Eagles students to meet up 5 years from that day, which will be the Millennium Festival to celebrate 1000 years since Garreg Mach Monastery was built. Then we get a cutscene where Claude asks Byleth to dance, and then Byleth leaves after being tired out, and Sothis asks Byleth to visit the Goddess Tower, to activate the Goddess Tower scene, you have to talk to the Gatekeeper on that month and pick which unit you want to spend time with at the Goddess Tower.
I feel like on this route Edelgard never tells Byleth about her childhood, and that she knew Dimitri since then, but it's only on the Blue Lions route this happens, where it is Dimitri that tells Byleth about his past. Another bit of interesting detail which I never went over, I might have explained about it in the description of this part in the game on the Golden Deer playthrough, but if you are playing as female Byleth and picked Dimitri for the Goddess Tower event, this can only happen on Blue Lions, Dimitri will ask Byleth to accompany him to the Goddess Tower, so that scene with Dimitri follows up to the Goddess Tower event, but on other routes, Byleth goes to the Goddess Tower and meets up with the chosen unit.
For the Goddess Tower event, I think you need to have B Support with that unit or at least have that unit recruited, and there are some Goddess Tower events that boost support.
Then we get a scene with Rhea singing a song, which Sothis recognizes it as a song she must have written, which must be some foreshadowing, because at the Chapter 8, Rhea did mention Sothis by name as a goddess of Fódlan, so there must be some connection between the two.
