We set out to Remire Village with Jeralt and the rest of the class, and we see that the village is set in flames and some of the villagers are out of control. We then see the one controlling the forces is some we were not expecting to come across, leading to a shocking reveal.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

It is time to begin Chapter 8, and we get a different map song, it is Tearing Through Heaven, and it is a good song in this game. I went with Thief on Leonie so I can work on her Speed stat, and I went with Brigand on Claude so he can master it and learn Death Blow, Byleth and Hilda are Pegasus Knights, and at first, I realized that I should have Hilda go right, so that way I can focus on saving all the villagers.
I do recommend giving your flying units Chest Keys, and as I have Byleth as a Pegasus Knight, I can freely go into Convoy and get them when nearing a chest. The northern chest has a Giant Shell, which can be used to boost Defense by 2, and the other has a Horseslayer, which deals bonus damage to Cavalry units, and there is a certain someone who shows up later on in the map.
This map does have some hazards, the fire can damage non-flying units after each turn, and you have to save up to 6 villagers, and your reward depends on how many you saved, and defeating some of the Rampaging Villagers will rescue some of the NPCs on this map, and there are endless reinforcements of the Rampaging Villagers every third turn.
Jeralt will be fighting alongside you on this map, he is a Paladin with Blade Breaker for his Personal Ability, which reduces the foe's Strength and Defense by 6 for 1 turn after combat. You must not let Jeralt be defeated, and he should be able to hold his own against the Rampaging Villagers. You will notice Tomas on the southern part of the map, and he has Noncombatant, which prevents him from being targeted, but when you get closer, he will reveal himself as Solon, and one thing I recently found out is if you didn't save any of the villagers once Solon reveals himself, all of them die, and when you don't save a single villager, your house leader has a quote where they get angry at Solon for killing them, and Dimitri's quote on the Blue Lion's route is really scary.
Jeralt will start moving when you have saved as many of the NPC Villagers as possible and after Solon has revealed himself. Also when Solon has revealed himself, the Death Knight will show up, and that Horseslayer from the chest deals bonus damage, specially if your unit has the Knightkneeler Combat Art.
The Death Knight is a fearsome opponent, and the reason why I gave Lorenz the Battalion that gives units Impregnable Wall is so the Death Knight only deals one damage, Impregnable Wall makes both units take and deal 1 damage in combat, so this can be really useful, as the Death Knight can take out your units in one hit with the Scythe of Sariel and his high crit rate. You should have Lysithea with Dark Spikes Τ to possibly take out the Death Knight, and defeating him gives you a Dark Seal. He can counterattack no matter the range, so he is a tough opponent, the Cavalier reinforcements have a Crescent Sickle each, which require a B Rank in Lance to use, and has 50 uses, so this can be a good weapon and is more powerful than a Steel Lance.
As Jeralt is an NPC, he cannot finish off Solon, and he does have some powerful spells, like Miasma Δ and Death Γ, which has a high crit rate, he has Agarthan Technology for his Personal Ability, which reduces damage dealt by adjacent foes. He has Fiendish Blow to make his magic attacks more powerful, and his Solon Subordinates Battalion has Resonant Flames for the Gambit. His Defense is not that good, so any good weapon users can get in some good damage against him, and since Jeralt will go after him, he can weaken Solon enough for your other units to finish him off.
Based on how many villagers were saved, you get an Extra Large Bullion if all of them were saved, or a Large Bullion if you saved at least one, and not all of them were saved, and you get an Advanced Seal if you saved at least three.
Then we go through some scenes where Jeralt and Byleth come across the Flame Emperor, and since the house leader is not present in the Flame Emperor scene, and as the house leader's retainer asks if they have seen the house leader, this is an interesting detail.
Then Claude talks with Byleth about her encounter with the Flame Emperor, and if the villagers going out of control was an experiment from Solon and his allies, and then she talks with Rhea and Seteth about the shocking truth about Tomas, and a bit of backstory about Jeritza, who is believed to be the Death Knight, and that we will need to prepare all we can if we want to stop Solon and the Death Knight.
