I used: Perrserker, Clawitzer, and Machamp
My Opponent used: Hydreigon, Mandibuzz, and Weavile
Stadium: Hammerlocke
Battle BGM: Tournament

I come across a Mono-Dark team from my opponent, and while I did bring up in an earlier video description that Gen 5 introduced most of my favourite Pokémon, some of the Pokémon in my top 10 favourite Gen 5 Pokémon are Dark-type Pokémon, and out of the three Pokémon from Gen 5, Bisharp is in my top 10 favourite Gen 5 Pokémon, I do like Hydreigon as a Pokémon, but it's not up on my top 10 list, and I am not a huge fan of Mandibuzz, even though I have tried one out in some previous online battles, it's just I didn't really care about Mandibuzz back in Gen 5, and I didn't consider her usefulness until either Gen 6 or 7.
The Pokémon that I chose for this battle are some that have a move that can deal with Dark-type Pokémon, so the three Pokémon I used all have a Fighting-type move, because that is one thing you have to be really careful about when using a Mono-Dark team, because from looking at my opponent's team, Mandibuzz is the only one on the team that takes neutral damage from Fighting-type moves, while Bisharp, Tyranitar, and Weavile are 4x weak to Fighting, the same can be said about Fairy-type attacks, where Hydreigon is 4x weak to Fairy, and Bisharp will take neutral damage, I do like the concept of using a Monotype team, it's just that it gives your team a glaring weakness to those types, in my opponent's case, three Pokémon on my opponent's team are 4x weak to Fighting, and that is one of the most common attacking types.
Going over each of my Pokémon, and I am aware that Perrserker is outclassed by better Steel-type Pokémon, but I decided to try one out on this team, as Perrserker is a Pokémon that doesn't see much use online, she has Fake Out to flinch her target at the start of the battle, Iron Head for her main move, Close Combat and Seed Bomb for coverage, and she has Tough Claws, I wasn't sure if Steely Spirit was worth going for, but I find that Tough Claws gives the boost to all her contact moves, and my Perrserker has an Assault Vest so she can take hits better, because aside from Attack and Defense, Perrserker's stats are kind of average.
I have used Clawitzer in some past online battles, but she was used on a Double Battle team, and she was used alongside an Indeedee, which could explain why I have Terrain Pulse on Clawitzer. I didn't use Indeedee in this battle, because is there any reason to use him against a Mono-Dark team? Clawitzer is a Pokémon that I really like, but I feel is a bit underwhelming in battle, because it kinds of feels like an average Water-type, and while Clawitzer has a high Special Attack stat, and Mega Launcher boosting the power of moves like Water Pulse, Aura Sphere, and a few other moves, the rest of Clawitzer's stats aren't really that high, so it was good to try her out again.
The Shiny Machamp used in this battle was used in Max Raid Battles, but this is the first time I use him in online battles, and if you are wondering, this is not a hacked Shiny Machamp, despite getting so many hacked Shiny Pokémon from Machamps.com, this is a Shiny Machamp that I bred for legitimately. This one has Guts, so I gave him the Flame Orb, and Machamp can Gigantamax, while most players prefer Dynamax for the Attack boost from Max Knuckle being better than the critical hit rate boost from G-Max Chi Strike, I find that it is better to use a Pokémon's Gigantamax form if it is capable of doing so. For his moves, he has Close Combat, if he had No Guard, I would have gone with Dynamic Punch, while Stone Edge would be used over either Knock Off or Earthquake, I like having Bullet Punch for the priority, and Machamp does seem to be a good Pokémon to use against a Mono-Dark team, specially if one of the Pokémon used by my opponent is Weavile, with that 4x weakness to Fighting, it is still a good team of Dark-type Pokémon, I don't see too many players use Weavile in online battles, while Mandibuzz and Hydreigon see a decent amount of use.
