Our mission is to rescue the students attacked by Demonic Beasts at the chapel, and we get help from Jeralt in stopping those beasts. This is quite a short chapter, as there are only five Demonic Beasts, and this should be an easy task.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

This is a very short mission, because there are four Demonic Beasts at the chapel, well it would be four on Normal difficulty, on Hard there would be five, and Jeralt will fight alongside you. You must not let Jeralt be defeated in battle, which I find to be a really unusual defeat condition, because of what happens to Jeralt after completing this mission.
There is a chest on this map, and opening it will award you with a Healing Staff, but I didn't realize there was a chest on this map, and you can get a Healing Staff on Rumored Nuptials, Ingrid and Dorothea's paralogue, where it is hidden in a chest, this is a good item to give to your healer.
All the Demonic Beasts have Seal Strength, that reduces enemy Strength by 6, and Renewal allows them to heal 20% of their maximum HP at the start of each turn. Each Demonic Beast have a weakness to a certain weapon type, two are weak to Axes, two are weak to Swords, and one is weak to Lances, and they can use Flame Breath as their Staggering Blow, that will reduce any affected targets' Defense, and ignites certain terrain, like forests, into flames.
Jeralt has Keen Intuition, which gives him Avoid +30 during combat against a foe 2 or more spaces away, and since he is Paladin, he has more movement, and he can steal your kills against the Demonic Beasts. He does also have Terrain Resistance and Lancefaire for skills, for being Byleth's father, he has some good skills in battle.
Another thing is that some students will be under attack by the Demonic Beasts, and if you defeat the Demonic Beasts targeting them, they will leave the map. On Maddening Difficulty, the students have Speed Rings, and they can use a Concoction if they have taken any damage. Jeralt does have a Speed Ring on Maddening difficulty as well.
When all the Demonic Beasts go down, we get a very depressing cutscene, and then we go through a bit of dialogue, and only on the Blue Lions route during the dairy scene, Dimitri comes and tells Byleth about a similar incident happened four years ago at Duscur, and then Byleth gives his report to Rhea, and we get a bit of backstory about Jeralt and how he met his wife, who had died upon Byleth's birth, and why Jeralt left the Monastery for 20 years.
Another bit of trivia is that Jeralt is voiced by David Lodge, he also voices the Narrator at the start of each chapter, and I have seen rumours that Jeralt is the Narrator of this game, as they do share the same voice actor.
