It is time for Byleth and the Golden Deer students to access the Holy Tomb, which is where Sothis's throne is said to be, but then we get a surprise attack from the Flame Emperor. Byleth and the Golden Deer students take on the Flame Emperor's troops and stop them from stealing the Crest Stones.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

It is time for Chapter 11, and this is where certain events happen depending on the route, but on the Golden Deer route, there is no special event that happens. After Rhea shows Byleth the Holy Tomb, which is where Sothis's throne is at, the Imperial Army attacks, and the surprise attack is led by the Flame Emperor, who says that the Crest Stones are some sort of poison.
The objective of this map is to stop the thieves from stealing the Crest Stones, and only Imperial Soldiers in the Thief class will prioritize on stealing Crest Stones and escaping, so if you have a unit with Stride and some Cavalry or Flying units, have them take out the thieves before they escape with the Crest Stones. Even though it is not required to save every Crest Stones, but you do get a really good reward if you can prevent them from being stolen.
There are two Demonic Beasts on this map, the left one is weak to Lances, and the right one is weak to Axes, and they have Flame Breath for their Staggering Blow, and there is a Priest that will heal the Demonic Beasts if enough damage is done to them, and he drops a Vulnerary when defeated on Hard Mode. Some of the Mysterious Mages on this map can use Gambits, like Resonant Flames and Group Flames, and those deal Magic damage.
If any of the thieves steal the Crest Stones, defeating them will make them drop the Crest Stones, and they end up in your inventory.
I could go over the enemy forces, first up is Metodey, otherwise known as "the angry guy", and the Flame Emperor's assistant, and he begins moving if you provoke him or the Flame Emperor, and there is a Dark Mage that will begin moving if you provoke them. Metodey is an Assassin with a Venin Edge, or the Poison Sword in Japanese, he has Poison Strike to make units lose 20% of their HP after combat, and his Battalion is Empire Raiders, which use Absorption, which has wide range and restores HP, but it is inaccurate. He has good Speed and Dexterity, so he can avoid attacks easier, so if you have any unit that has a good hit rate, you should be able to take him out.
The Flame Emperor is a really tough opponent, and you do get unique dialogue if you let Byleth or Claude fight the Flame Emperor. This masked being has counterattack, and has a lot of HP, Strength, and Defense, and the Flame Emperor's Battalion is Flame Emperor Co., and the Gambit is Raging Flames. The Flame Emperor has a really high Charm stat, and is likely to start off with a Battalion, Raging Flames has a wide range, and it is a really powerful Battalion. The Flame Emperor has Seal Magic and Seal Strength, so that can reduce your Strength or Magic by 6 if the Flame Emperor initiates combat, and as this is a very tough opponent, if you have saved some Gambits for the Flame Emperor or some powerful Combat Arts, like Byleth's Sublime Heaven, you should be able to take out this masked being.
The Flame Emperor is unmasked, and all Claude could do was act surprised, I feel like the plot twist doesn't even play out that well, because on the Blue Lions route, it had the best reveal of the Flame Emperor and it was the only route to have a cutscene following that battle. On Black Eagles, the Flame Emperor's true identity is revealed before the battle begins, and you get put in a tough choice that will change the story, but I won't spoil too much on Black Eagles.
As for the rewards, if all the Crest Stones were recovered, you get a Knowledge Gem and a Rusted Bow, which can be forged into a Silver Bow, and you get an Advanced Seal if at least half of the Crest Stones were recovered.
