A new update has come to Nintendo Switch Online, and some more classic games have been added, and all of them are games I have never heard of before, for Super Nintendo Entertainment System games, we get Doomsday Warrior, Prehistorik Man, and Psycho Dream, and for Nintendo Entertainment System, one game was added, and it is Fire 'n Ice, so we got some really unusual choices of games.
The one I play for this video is Doomsday Warrior, and get ready to see me struggle with this game, because I am not a fan of fighting games outside of Super Smash Bros., because with most fighting games, they have really complicated controls, I'm really surprised they haven't even added Street Fighter for one of the SNES games, because there are some Street Fighter games for the SNES and they are very popular games, don't know why this one was chosen.
Doomsday Warrior is a game that released in 1992, and from what I have read, it was never released in Europe, the developer is Laser Soft in Japan, and Renovation Products in the US, and I had to look up to see what that company was, and they also developed Psycho Dream, another game added in the update.
There are 7 playable characters in this game, and they are known as the Doom Squad, and an evil sorcerer has taken over the seven warriors to his side, and one of Doom Squad has resisted the influence and stands against them as the Doomsday Warrior, so that is the character you pick for single player, and you have to fight the other six characters on the roster, and when you win a battle, you can choose which stat you want to boost.
I did read about this game being made during a fighting game trend that was popularized by Street Fighter II, which I don't understand why that game didn't get picked for one of the SNES games for Nintendo Switch Online. This game is really tough to play, as even the easy CPUs are difficult, so I would give this game a low rating, I do not even care about this game, and I even checked online to see what the reviews for this game was, and it doesn't have the best reviews, but then again Nintendo Switch Online has a thing of putting in games that aren't widely known onto there.
