We still have one week left of preparations before the Imperial Troops attack, so it is time for one more paralogue, and in this one, Hilda and Cyril ask Byleth to help out the Goneril Soldiers in stopping the Almyran troops at Fódlan's Locket, and we must not let the enemy troops escape.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

This is the final paralogue in the first half of the game, and you will need to have recruited Hilda in order to attempt this paralogue, and this can be done in the second half of the game unlike the other paralogues we have done so far. I guess the reason is because of Hilda's unusual recruitment method, because neither her or Cyril can be recruited on Black Eagles unless you choose to side with the Church.
This paralogue takes place at Fódlan's Locket, and Hilda's brother has fallen ill, and the Goneril Forces are being attacked by Almyran Forces, and the Goneril Soldiers are Armored Knights, and even though they are defensive, they can't hold on for too long. You will fail if the defended location is captured or if all of the Goneril Soldiers are defeated, and the Cavaliers can easily reach the defended location, so try to prioritize on defeating the Cavaliers, and there are two Giant Birds that can dodge attacks easier thanks to Avo +10, so having some units with bows can help take them down.
Cyril will be placed on the eastern side of the map with three other units, and he should be able to hold his own if you levelled him up a bit and promoted him to Wyvern Rider, and if you have equipped bows onto him, he should be able to handle the enemy Wyvern Riders on this map. The boss of this map is a Wyvern Rider, and he does not start moving until turn 4 or if you provoke a nearby Cavalier. The Wyvern Riders have low Res, even the boss, so magic attacks can do well against them, some of the Almyra Troops have Battalions, most of them being Assault Troop, while the Archers have Fusillade for their Gambit.
After defeating the boss of this map, you will get a reward based on how many Goneril Soldiers were saved, you get a Hexlock Shield if you saved all of them and a Large Bullion if you saved at least one of them.
You get some Battalions, the first one is Goneril Valkyries, which give a boost to Strength, Hit, Critical rate, and Charm, and a good boost to Protection, and it requires a B Rank to equip, and this is really challenging for Hilda, as she has an Authority weakness, and most players prefer her as a Wyvern Rider, but it's an option if you choose to make her another class, like Fortress Knight or Warrior, the Gambit is Assault Troop.
If you have Cyril recruited, you will get Almyra Mercenaries, which requires an E Rank in Battalion, don't know why an E Rank Battalion this late in the game, but anyway, it gives boosts to Strength, Avoid, and Charm, and the Gambit is Fusillade, it's not that great of a Battalion due to its low Resilience, and it's not like at this point of the game you have any units that are still in E Rank in Authority.
You do get a Hero's Relic for completing this paralogue, it is an axe called Freikugel, which is tied to the Crest of Goneril, and as Hilda has that Crest, she will be able to use Apocalyptic Flame, which in Japanese is called Fire that Destroys the World, this Combat Arts gives boosts to Hit and Might, and deals bonus damage to Dragon units, and inflicts -5 stat debuff to the target after combat. When Hilda talks about how she finds the axe to be disturbing, wait till later in the game to find out what Heroes' Relics really are, I don't want to spoil too much about them, well other than the Heroes' Relics being given to the 10 Elites, who were the heroes chosen by the goddess.
In New Game +, the Crest item for Goneril is Kalpa Dragon Sign, so if you are doing New Game + on any other routes and you get Freikugel, this can be a good weapon to give to axe users like Caspar, Ashe, or any other units if they have the Crest item, because if the unit does not have a Crest, they will take 10 damage after combat.
